Rosewood Soap Loaf
Wholesale Handmade Natural Soap

Rosewood has a light woodsy and sweet aroma.  At first, Rosewood may remind you of Palmarosa, due to it's rose notes, but then the subtle base notes take over and you'll be hooked by the natural woodsy aroma.  If you like Cedarwoods or Sandalwood, give Rosewood a try.

Best For SkinType: Moderate/Most Skin Types (Moderately Oily to Moderately Dry)

Our standard Wholesale Soap Loaves are the best value if you are cutting the soap yourself or cutting in front of your customers. Each soap loaf is approx. 2.6 to 3.3 lbs and can be purchased in its most natural form or it can be trimmed for you.  If wholesale soap loaves are purchased without being trimmed, they will have a more "handmade rough top" to them which can be desirable for some individuals (pictures in product details below).  Generally the loaves are just over 10" so yields will be approx 10 bars and a small end piece.

Soap loaves are fun and easy to work with. All of our regular lines fragrances and special formulas are available .

These uncut soap loaves ready for the knife or slicer.  These loaves are perfect for trade shows, shops, local fairs and flea markets. Each soap loaf witll make approximately 10 bars when cut 1" each and a small end piece.  Also, they weigh approx 2.6-3.3 lbs.  Measurements: approx. 10" x 3.5" x 2.5"

"Trimmed Top" isn't perfectly smooth, but a smoother more uniform appearance below:

Note: Because soap loaves are large, they take more time to fully cure/dry.  In other words, they will contain more  moisture than the bars since it cannot escape the mass of soap.  Therefore, loaves will not be fully dry when shipped and it is the responsibility of the buyer to allow the soap to air dry after cutting.  Once cut, the bars should air dry quickly (approx. one or two days in a well ventilated room).

Soap Care and cutting after shipment:

  1. Unwrap loaf and sit "open air" in a room with good air circulation, low humidity, and low dust.  If ideal conditions are not available, store soap loaf loosely in clean cloth.  Note: Until you cut the loaf, it will not entirely dry on the inside. Therefore, if you plan to cut in front of customers, inform them that they need to allow the soap to dry in open air before use (for best performance).
  2. If you desire to cut the loaves immediately: simply use either a (safe) large knife, dough cutter (or crinkle cutter), or cheese slicer/cutter if you do not have a soap loaf cutter.  Cut to desired width.
  3. Allow soap to dry until firm to touch. Some soaps take longer than others but it will usually only take several days at the most.  In humid, hot, very cold or "still" environments the soap could take much longer, try using oscilating fans to ventilate the room while drying.
